Chicken Manchurian Recipe


- 500 grams boneless chicken cubes

- 1 tablespoon minced white pepper

- 4 tablespoons cornflour, dissolved in water

- 1 cup chicken broth

- 1 tablespoon minced garlic

- 1 tablespoon soy sauce

- 1/2 cup tomato ketchup

- 2 tablespoons chili sauce

- 2 tablespoons white vinegar

- 2 tablespoons cornflour

- 1 tablespoon sugar

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 cup oil for cooking, plus 1 tablespoon for frying chicken

- Finely chopped green onion leaves for garnish


**Method:**



1. Marinate the chicken cubes with white pepper, dissolved cornflour, 1 tablespoon of oil, and salt. Let it sit for half an hour.

   

2. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the marinated chicken cubes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

   

3. In a saucepan, heat 1/4 cup of oil and sauté the minced garlic.

   

4. Add vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, chili sauce, chicken broth, and salt. Cook until it starts boiling.

   

5. Gradually add the cornflour mixture while stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.

   

6. Once the sauce thickens, add the fried chicken cubes and mix well until all the chicken pieces are coated with the sauce.

   

7. Garnish with finely chopped green onion leaves.

   

8. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
