- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste

- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for grilling
- Skewers, soaked in water (if using wooden skewers

1. In a bowl, mix together yogurt, fresh cream, grated cheese, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chili paste, garam masala powder, ground black pepper, ground coriander, ground cumin, and salt to taste.

2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well, ensuring all the pieces are coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

3. Preheat the grill or barbecue to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent them from burning.

4. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

5. Brush the grill with vegetable oil to prevent sticking. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a golden brown color on the outside.

6. Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes.

7. Serve the Malai Kababs hot with mint chutney, sliced onions, and lemon wedges on the side.
