recipe for Chicken Tikka

              Chicken Tikka

 - 500 g of chicken breast, cut into bite-sized       pieces

 - 1 cup of plain yogurt

 - 2 tablespoons of lemon juice

 - 2 spoons of ginger-garlic paste

 - 1 tablespoon of chili

 - 1 tablespoon ground cumin

 - 1 tablespoon ground coriander

 - 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder

 - 1 teaspoon garam masala

 - Salt to taste

 - 2 tablespoons of oil                   

 - Fresh coriander leaves for garnish.           

           ## Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt.

2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well until all the chicken pieces are evenly coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

3. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

4. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

5. Brush the chicken pieces with oil and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and lightly charred around the edges.

6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with salad or boiled rice.
