Gola Kabab is a barbecue dish originating from Kandahar, Afghanistan, often served as a side dish. These soft and melt-in-the-mouth kababs are named for their spherical shape. They can be pan-fried, grilled, or baked according to preference and are delicious when served with various chutneys and sauces.


 Ingredients:

- Onion

- Chicken or Beef Mince

- Egg

- Yogurt

- Chili Powder

- Raw Papaya (optional, for enhanced taste)


 Method:

1. Finely chop the onion and mix it with the chicken or beef mince in a bowl.

2. Add beaten egg, yogurt, chili powder, and raw papaya (if using) to the mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

3. Shape the mixture into small round balls, giving them the characteristic "gola" shape.

4. Heat a grill pan or frying pan and lightly oil it.

5. Place the gola kababs on the pan and cook until golden brown on all sides, ensuring they are cooked through.

6. Serve hot with your choice of chutneys and sauces.
